Vineyard Notes
Nestled between two mountain ranges, the Napa Valley offers diverse microclimates and soils that are uniquely suited to growing beloved wines. With its cooling influence from the Pacific Ocean which allows the grapes to reach their full ripeness while retaining a high acidity, Napa Carneros is the perfect region for growing Pinot Noir for Rosé. The grapes were picked slightly early to ensure a lively wine. They were then destemmed and very lightly crushed - just enough to break the skins and allow the wine to run. This was followed by very gentle pressing and a cool fermentation. In the end, the result is a lively and flavorful wine.
Winemaker Notes
The 2020 growing season in Napa Valley began with heavy rains that nourished the soils. The Spring and
summer weather was stable without major rains or heat spikes. These fine grapes were harvested early in the season.
