Summer temperatures were steady, and the Valley befitted from a long, slow Harvest without heat spikes or rain. The grapes for this wine experienced extended hang time with warm days and cool nights, allowing the grapes to reach their full ripeness and expression. The complex, layered and high-quality wines of this vintage, especially the powerful reds which will continue to age gracefully, will be remembered and celebrated in years to come.
